William R. "Bill" Sturdevant has been presenting Jose Silva's mind training systems since 1984, and has been certified to present all of the Silva programs. He was one of the first to sign on for the new UltraMind ESP System, and it is the program he is devoting most of his time to.
Bill has also been certified by Jose Silva to train holistic faith healers under the auspices of the Ecumenical Society of Psychorientology.
In the early 1980s, Bill began studying the power of the human mind, and the relationships between the mind and brain and their effects on the body. This interest led him to Jose Silva's mind training system, which he used in many ways, to help himself and many other people overcome serious health challenges.
Bill holds a B. A. degree from The Evergreen State College. He has studied in Europe and has done work toward a Master’s degree at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
His current interests are in using the mind for healing, as well as developing intuition and using it to obtain guidance and help from higher intelligence.
He currently serves as instructor of Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System in Alaska. His efforts through the years have been recognized by Jose Silva, who presented him with the Silva Special Achievement Award. A lifelong Alaskan, Bill presents the program as needed throughout the state.
In 2002 Bill was asked to travel to Namibia (formerly SouthWest Africa) to present Jose Silva’s courses. He taught Jose Silva’s UltraMind ESP System and the Holistic Faith Healing Workshop to several enthusiastic and appreciative groups.
Bill works very closely with the owners of Silva UltraMind Systems: Alex Gonzalez Silva, and Jose Luis "Pepe" Romero, as well as with Avlis Publishing, in expanding the reach of Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System’s mission globally.

Jose Silva began his research into the mind and human potential in 1944, and began teaching courses based on his research findings in 1966.
